Harald Victor Hove and Espen Risholm new partners at First House

“Harald and Espen deliver high-quality advisory services and build strong relationships and trust over time, both with clients and colleagues. It is a pleasure to welcome them both into the partnership,” says Jon Georg Dale, Managing Director of First House.

Harald Victor Hove heads First House’s Bergen office and has built the firm’s strong position in Western Norway. He has previously served as a City Commissioner in Bergen, with responsibility for finance and ownership, culture, as well as childcare and schools. He has also been CEO of Maritime Bergen and Hardangerviddatunnelene AS.

“Harald combines political weight with experience from the private sector. He understands how decisions are made, both in city council chambers and in boardrooms. Combined with the way he has developed our Bergen office into an important growth engine, his move into the partnership is well deserved,” says Jon Georg Dale.

“First House is a unique advisory environment, and I am proud to take this step. Building our Bergen office has been highly meaningful, and I look forward to contributing even more to the company’s growth and development,” says Harald Victor Hove.

Espen Risholm has a background from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, as well as Schibsted, Adevinta and Ice Group. This has given him a broad understanding of what drives decision-making at the intersection of politics and business.

“Espen is one of our most versatile advisers. He masters everything from financial communications and investor relations to strategic advice in complex processes, and he quickly gets to the heart of challenging issues. That makes him a highly valued addition to the partnership,” says Jon Georg Dale.

“These have been very rewarding years, with exciting assignments, interesting clients and fantastic colleagues. Becoming a partner is a strong motivation to continue delivering even better advice to our clients,” says Espen Risholm.
