Ingvild has extensive experience from Norwegian politics and public administration, including serving as Minister of Health and Care Services in Jonas Gahr Støre’s government and as a Member of Parliament for the Labour Party for three terms. She has chaired the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment, and been a member of both the Standing Committee on Health and Care Services and the Standing Committee on Transport and Communications. As Minister of Health and Care Services, Ingvild worked, among other things, on managing the COVID-19 pandemic. She also has long experience from local politics, including as County Council Leader in Nord-Trøndelag. In addition, she has served on the Labour Party’s National Executive Committee for 16 years and held several board positions in various organizations.
Through many years in politics, Ingvild has gained solid insight into political decision-making processes and extensive leadership experience from large organizations. At First House, she advises clients primarily within the fields of health, industry, and energy.
