Orkla is a leading supplier of branded products to groceries, bakeries and the catering industry in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The listed group has approximately 13 000 employees and had a turnover of NOK 30 billion in 2014. Orkla has one of the industry's most competent communication departments.
First House has provided Orkla with strategic advice to the communications director, and contributed to specific projects. We have also provided advice on the organisation of resources and work flows, and input to the communication department's policy documents and plans. We have also contributed to the work with Orkla's strategy for positioning and internal communications. An important part of this collaboration has been about assisting in change processes, such as the acquisition and integration of businesses.
